jam-packed saturday

saturday... i was unsure from the very beginning if i'd go to adhoc 'cause that same day i had football training, this tree planting thing for biology miss earth, promised lex i'd watch his first biobit game for this year (ALL IN THE MORNING), the usual after-training saturdates with lex and was supposed to visit my friend alex back in cavite. jam-packed saturday.

woke up at around 7 because the biome tree planting thing was supposed to start by 8am. when i got to school, my 2 blockmates told me that it was postponed for some vague reason which i did not bother to know at all because i was too pissed off. i ditched football training for it and then some person in charge did not disseminate the information well enough that it could've reached us. same as the other groups who were there and were not informed, they got pretty pissed off too. who wouldn't be, right?

so anyway... the second i was told it was postponed i immediately texted lex and told him i could watch his game. YEY! :) went back first to my apartment because i forgot some stuff then headed straight to felix huertas (not sure of the place). i got there just in time though i kinda got lost at first. good thing i saw lexus' friend, jc, who was just about to go in. when i walked in i saw a couple of friends who were there to watch the games. the game was pretty intense if you ask me. :)) the players gf's were there making it more fun. after the game lex and i went straight to qc for his training. he left me to wait for him at trinoma for an hour and a half.

as i waited, i did some window shopping and canvassed on lomo cams 'cause i am seriously having a hard time using my diana camera. i use 120 films for it which is kinda hard to find around here. what's even harder is to look for a shop who actually prints and develops them. it's hard to find a place 'cause of the scarcity of lomographers around here that's why i decided to buy a new one which uses 35 mm films. i've been eyeing on a holga color splash camera but then when i went into the shop, i saw this:

it's so cute! especially the white one but then it's quite normal for me. the shots i mean, it's just wide-angled like the others so, no. saw this one too:

the sprocket rocket! this is cute! never really been into the panoramic shooting until i discovered this. i don't know why, i guess the name, the color and the sales lady's persuasion made an impact on me. haha. plus it uses 35 mm film! :) see the sample shots...

anyway.. enough lomo. so where was i again.. after i canvassed and hurt my feet bad 'cause of intense window shopping, he finally came. ate lunch, had my favorite choco truffle ice cream, got lost at the parking lot 'cause he forgot where he parked. lol. moving on.. traffic in q ave was dreadful. so we had to go to the side streets. the trip back to my apartment was fun though my temper had me again. hehehe. got back to the apartment by 430-ish and.....

cuddled the whole night :) :"> we were supposed to watch One Day and Crazy Stupid Love but oh well... :)

common-er

just recently, *&^#@ and i have been talking a lot about him and her. i don't know how or why, or maybe it's just one of those occasional talks we do about them. we actually do not really like going back to stuff like those  (he hates it more than i do) but then again sometimes it's really inevitable, i think. then randomly *&^#@ told me that i have quite a lot of similarities with her. i quickly then thought of things that are common between him and the other him. *&^#@ gave me more of the "similarities" more than i could between them, which was just like what i said, quite a lot. it actually made me think.... what if i remind him of her? then i'd laugh it off in my mind. another thing that struck me the most is that he'd often tell me that she treated him so dearly, so full of love--the opposite of how i treat him (lol) idk why but when i heard it, it actually made me smile. :) no joke, it actually did.

as his current girlfriend (there you go) i actually would like him to remember stuff or memories like those from his past. i mean, there's nothing wrong with it. i'm not being a hypocrite or whatever but that's just who i am. those things made him this way today. i don't want him to forget how happy he was back then, how happy they were cause memories are memories, they're there to be remembered and looked back at. 'cause i myself treasure memories in my head. i want (but i do not impose) him to be grateful of things which made him happy once in his life. i don't know how the hell to explain this more...

it's just me... i think differently.

whoever said “learn to accept change, and move on” must’ve been one lazy-ass mofo. we aren’t stagnant rocks, made to waste away with change. if you don’t like the situation, move and do something about it.

i remember he'd always wanna watch me sleep. which i find awkward 'cause of course when you're asleep you don't really know what you look like--whether your mouth is open, you look horrible etc. he'd always tell me that i look so innocent and peaceful when i'm asleep. i find it cute really, though i always tell him to stop.


so anyway, after the presentations of each class and our dance-your-heart-out-but-cut-short party ended, the students went back to their hotel rooms. i, on the other hand, room hopped to kat, gracia, france and b's room and decided to bring my stuff and stay there for the whole trip. good thing there weren't any room inspection 'cause if there were, i'd be dead. going back.. when we got to the room, we chilled a little then lexus came. while the other's were washing up and taking a shower, me grash and lexi were on the bed watching basketball. after everyone has taken their shower and before-bed rituals, lexi went back to his room and took his. he went back to our room and found all of us already snugged in on our beds while watching tv. he sat on the lower part of the bed and watched tv with us. unfortunately, all of us fell asleep except for lex. so when he saw that we were all fast asleep, he went back to his room and went to bed. i woke up the next day, did the usual bath-brush-dress routine and then found this on my headboard........

not-so-young husbands

a source, my source named EULEAN JAVINAS, a long time friend of mine way back grade school, has been updating me whenever the younghusbands would have their training in uplb. i’m not really a huge huge fan of them but what i want is to see them train. so when he first told me, i immediately told lexus abt it asked him if he could go with me. but unfortunately he couldn’t :( sooooo change of plans! i asked few of my closest friends to come with me but then all of them couldn’t either. it’s actually okay for me kasi if i’dl go malalate din ako ng gising! haha. it turned out right, i did wake up late, i woke up at 1pm which is the time they’ll start training. but then eulean told me they’ll start pa at 3. pero tinamad na ko :| haha. mom left me din 'cause she couldn’t wake me up. haha. well, i could still see them some other time naman so it’s okay and lexus promised me that we'd watch their official game idk when prolly this june or july.

ctws turned lts

yesterday, 3/13/11, we went to sapang palay, bulacan for our make up fieldwork slash immersion cos we missed one (me and aicy). we were with some groups from commerce. at first i thought we'd be so out-of-place but then i was wrong. good thing the other groups from science were there too, at least we didn't feel so left out. but anyway, it was so tiring, really. :-| they made us do book shelves, which was so hard cos we had to start from scratch--cutting the wood, nailing, painting and varnishing. then inside this tiny and raged classroom, i've been noticing since we got there little kids who were being taught by some students who were enrolled in lts. i was actually ranting to myself why didn't i choose lts. the kids were such cuties. i actually envied those who were teaching them. haha. but then lunch came, we were hanging out outside under trees when the little kids approached us. they were shy at first then eventually it was like we're sisters. heehee :)

after a a while they got all comfy with us and we started playing. but it didn't last long :( we had to go back to manila. they accompanied us to the bus and said our goodbyes. it broke my heart when this little girl named marry joy said, "aalis na kayo? :( babalik pa ba kayo? balik kayo ha." </3 it was so hard to freaking say no :(

all in all, i had a great time thanks to the cutesie paotootsie kiddos :) i love kids, i love how they're so free-spirited :) 'til next time!!

lit paper

so our lit professor asked us to write a reaction paper on wb yeat's poem, "the second coming" and it's taking me forever to finish it. why--bcos first, it's very different to understand (well for me it is) second, twitter and fb's been keeping busy all day (i can't fucking help it!), third, i've been trying to juice the fuck out of my brain but still there's nothing :| fourth, i've been procrastinating the whole freaking day--eating to be exact. told myself i'd be done by 5 but i'm halfway done on the first page and it's already 5:07pm, 2 pages is the minimum for crying out lout.

imma get things going.. i still have to memorize shiz for botany :(

listening to the beatles as i do my paper :-) their the ones keeping me sane..
